Gradfest...

This last week I attended Gradfest, the University sponsored event to prepare all graduating students for commencement and beyond graduation. It was basically a large grad fair, and it there were a lot of people to see and booths to get information at.

  • Class & major: senior; public relations and political science, South Asian and Middle Eastern studies minor
  • Hometown: Lincoln, NE
  • Groups or activities: Alpha Omicron Pi Sorority, PRSSA, Order of Omega, CLA student ambassador
  • Best thing about being a CLA student: You take a wide range of classes on a variety of topics. The cool thing is that many of my classes are inter-related and touch on similar themes with different perspectives that are really interesting.
  • Favorite place to study: Walter Library because it's a convenient place on campus to get things done.
  • Why I chose CLA : I really liked the political science deparment and was impressed by thte School of Journalism and Mass Communication. They offered the specific public relations track that interests me.
